Staggering out of education into the stark light of the ‘real world’ as a young and eager creative, I had the option of becoming a teacher or exploring more. I chose more; more to learn, more to grow, more to understand, more to be wise, more to be an engaging educator, more everyday.

Early on my exposure to design had me leaning towards purpose. Purpose for how I spent my day. Purpose for the creative I produced. Purpose for the bigger picture, whatever the scale. Purpose to tell a meaningful story. Purpose to make change.

Two decades later, I find myself on the other side of a diverse experience in the design industry with an eclectic set of skills gathered along the journey. Inside the confines of the businesses I’ve worked for and within the varied environments I spend my social life, I’ve used design to enable and empower people with artwork or tools to proceed with their big ideas.
